During this second week of Advent, we reflect on our lives and focus on becoming better versions of ourselves in preparation for Jesus’ coming.
We remember the journey Joseph and Mary took from Nazareth to Bethlehem. What has your journey toward Christmas been like so far?

The annual Christmas Concert Bake Sale is fast approaching!
Bakers - Please consider donating your favourite Christmas goodies to contribute to variety packs that will be sold on the afternoon/night of the Christmas concert.
Your wonderful and tasty donations can be dropped off on December 9th and 10th and we will be calling on Volunteers to help re-pack into variety packs on Dec 11th.
Non-bakers - Come out and support this annual tradition and purchase your Christmas baking at our sale. All proceeds are reinvested into the school and school community.

Hot lunch orders for the Winter 2025 session (starting in January) can be placed from December 4th to 11th.
No late orders will be accepted after this date.

Our Grade 6 classes are pleased to announce the return of the “Green Christmas Market” on December 17th.
We are asking you, the St. Joseph Community, to purge your homes and send any gently used
items for our sale. All proceeds will be divided between a local and a global charity.
Items can be brought to school starting December 2nd. Grade 6 students will be outside waiting to receive the items each morning of this week!

Purple is the primary colour associated with Advent. Within the Catholic Church it symbolizes penance, preparation and sacrifice.
During the first week of Advent we remember the Old Testament prophets who foretold of Jesus’ coming with hope and anticipation. Are you ready to discover the hope Jesus is inviting you to experience this Advent?

On Monday, December 2nd, students may dress up in purple, pink or white to represent the colours of Advent.

Thank you for supporting Operation Christmas Child!
Thanks to your generosity and kindness, we packed 167 boxes and raised $1,140 to help bring love and joy to children in need around the world.
